DEVELOPMENT OF BIOCOMPATIBLE THREE-DIMENSIONAL STRUCTURES

We manufacture three-dimensional porous scaffolds (3D-Scaffolds) using additive manufacturing techniques in the biomedical area, such as 3D bioprinting. For this, we use polymeric and bioactive biomaterials, conducting experimental biomechanical analyzes and computational modeling. In addition, we analyze the biological responses of these structures in in vitro models, using SEM and confocal microscopy, as well as enzymatic assays and molecular analyzes. These three-dimensional structures are used as a study model for biomedical phenomena in hard tissue regeneration strategies. In this line we collaborate with research centers in Chile and abroad.
