The great challenges of the future at national and global level are related to solving problems whose solution is in the hands of Engineering and Science, among others, the lack of water, circular economy, climate change, health. That is why efforts are being made globally to prepare the entire population and educate them in an integrated way in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) disciplines. With this, we will promote creativity, critical thinking, among many other skills so that our young people can respond to the challenges of today and the future. Our research group is part of this commitment and because of this, we integrate the RED STEM Latam and the RED STEAM Valparaíso to support the education of all children in Chile and Latin America from the regional and local level.
